Let's face it, there are a lot of things that add stress to your life. Fortunately, there are many ways to manage your stress! Diet, sleep, exercise, positive self talk, meditation and prayer are just some of the tools.
Yoga is a great tool to manage stress and bring you back to focusing on the most important person. Yourself! Without taking the time to make sure you are taken care of, you're unable to fully take care of others.
Tula has two, 6-Week Yoga Beginners Series starting in October and November:
Series One on Sundays
October 21st - November 25th @ 5:30 PM
Series Two on Wednesdays
November 7th - December 12th @ 6:30 PM
This 6-Week Beginners Series Yoga teaches the benefits of breath along with basic postures. You will discover how your breath can ease not only your mind, but increase your stamina and sense of happiness and well-being.
Together we will find out how the poses can work for you personally. We will work on combining Pranayama (breath control), Asana (poses), meditation and some background into the history and science of yoga.
After taking this 6-week series you will be able to practice in most of the other classes we offer now and additional ones in the near future. At Tula we believe every “body” is perfect for yoga.
